X-Cart 4.5.5 released

so i downloaded the 1st release of the upgrade patch (4.5.4 to 4.5.5) when it came out and now QT updated that updater. Is there any harm in using the original update files? I dont plan on doing this until summer because its our busy season but just want to know.

I did run a test upgrade and all went ok except I got a error adding to my cart but I think thats an XAMPP SSLSession issue.

There is one more bug with socialize module even on x-cart demo. In product details Pinterest button does not work!!! In chrome it show chrome logo and in FF it show grey box.

I saw that this morning too Toora. I thought it was my computer. I swear it did work before because this was the first time I noticed it and I have been working for about 2 weeks (part time) on our new site. Wonder if Pinterest changed something???

Hi Danimal,

I don't know if Pinterest changed something or not yet, but my client just told me so I've disabled this option for now but I'll look into this issue later.
Hopefully QT can provide a fix for this...

Well, right now, Pinterest is the LEAST of my worries of things not working. I see your point having a client (been there, got the t-shirt). But right now, I really need to figure out what piece in the CSS to edit to get the drop down menus to show over the text but behind the full screen editor. You can not edit a description full screen. And that is what we do. So...

Try clearing the cache... I had similar issue with orders modify page so I cleared the cache and everything was back to normal.

I did. Like 100 times. I got it to show in front of everything except the announcements on the main page, which I might just remove all together. It is now behind the editor when the editor is full screen.

I have 5 test products and am about to say to hell with XC 4.5.5. Let me post my list of issues today! And it is just now 8am here.

When is using PayPal Pro on XC 4.5.5 and XP 1.0.6, I don't understand why it shows like this.

Personal Check
PayPal (with logo so they log in with their paypal account)
PayPal (this should say Credit Card!)

I do not understand why it is set to say PayPal by default on that third option. When you select it, you go to the page to enter your Credit Card details. This is WAY to confusing for the customer because they already have a PayPal option.

I suppose I will dig to find this too.

Really, I am not amused at the 4.5x branch at this point and have 2 more stores to bring up to this version. I am starting to wonder about doing so if this is how it works. Ugh. Can I not get this store live?
