I want to close my store for a month, but was considering keeping all the pages up, but somehow disabling checkout with a message saying store is temporarily closed.

Any opinions if this would be better with Google and for customers, rather than just having the 1 page saying the store is closed?

Has anyone done this or is there a module?

Thanks Steve. So you just enable the module when you want to close, then turn the module off and checkout works again?
