In that case (if you are not using shipping API) you on your side have nothing to worry about. The only risk is that the module vendor could eventually go out of the business leaving you without the support. Thanks.

The second half of my question, was whether Qualteam would develop a module like that. I.e. for Litecommerce, and NOT the shipping module. I find it works well on one of my sites, better than your alternative solution, and would be looking to change all my sites at some time in the future to use this type of solution. If you are unclear regarding what particular module I am talking about please pm me.
