I have had a number of issues with doing this. For one, Internet Explorer renders CSS differently than any other browser. Many times IE does it wrong. You can see this in effect when a completely CSS standards compliant browser is used on a site made primarily to look right in IE. Some of the elements or will be overlapping each other or floating around in places they shouldn't be.

Maybe the next service pack of IE will fix that, but for now...

It would also be nice if Xcart had their templates written in CSS from the start. :P

CSS - I agree. I am in the process of changing all of the layout tables to pure CSS and using tables to display tabular data, as they are meant to do.

You can't just add the table-layout to your CSS file because you will be missing the crucial <col> tags to go with it!!!

As long as the site stays liquid (adapting to various browser resolutions) this is an incredible mod! If someone can come up with a css formula, please post it.

GM:

I don't understand your reference "adapting to verious browser resolutions", that is why you use % versus px in the width elements.

I was looking for something like http://www.aerostich.com ... without having to go through all of the templates just a simple mod to the skin1.css, don't worry about it though, it's really not that big of a deal to me.
