Anyone have a "store locator" script that they like?

Google has published a framework, but it's a bit over my head.

I found a bunch on the web -- but most are U-G-L-Y

I am LOVING how Apple integrated googlemaps...

Anyone know how apple did this? I see they are using googlemaps -- anything tricky in there?

I coded one for our store with google maps.. complete with driving instructions

you can see it in use here:

Works with zip codes, addresses, partial addresses and such.. Only USA though We're not international yet

There is a clear disclaimer that this mod may not work on all servers, specifically with php v5. My server runs php 5.2.16, but I went ahead and created a new database, uploaded the files, patched the new database and edited the php file, but I get a blank page when trying to access the store locator admin as indicated in the instructions "www.yourstore.com/locator/admin" . If anyone else has this working using PHP 5.xx can you tell me how you did it?
