this thread is for helping with FacebookTab configuring and all the questions regarding this mod.

As far as I can see at the moment the issue was sorted out. All the questions regarding the support points, implemented changes in your store, company rules and policy, please, post in HelpDesk system to support manager.

I contacted with support team and as far as I can see they answered you yesterday night.

I installed fb tab and i can see the tabs in http://mysite.com/fb_tab/index.php and it is turned on in the modules, but I'm getting this message above it:

Warning: Unexpected character in input: ' in /home/******/public_html/modules/Facebook_Tab/func.php(116) : regexp code on line 1

(I changed it to ******)

When going to: https://apps.facebook.com/xcart_shop/index.php I copy the url from the install complete page (http://mysite.com/install-fbtab.php) and paste it in and click apply.

I then get this message:

Error: The module is not found
The X-Cart "Facebook Tab" module is not found on the entered URL. Please install the module or make sure that you are entering the correct URL.

which is annoying me, because i know it is installed and activated and I know that i am using the correct URL.

REALLY hoping that someone can help me get this working properly like it should.

What is the real URL for the installed module?

What the exact URL which you entered on https://apps.facebook.com/xcart_shop/index.php?

Also it is will be very helpful if you provide us with FTP access to your server to investigate PHP warning. Please, do it only the Help Desk using Secure Access list.

I purchased this mod a few weeks back. Installed it and went to add it to my page via this URL https://apps.facebook.com/xcart_shop/index.php?
But the page states the following:

This application can be installed on the Community or Official pages only.
You should be the Admin of the page on which you are going to add this application.

Unfortunately, you don't have a pages on which the X-Cart Shop can be added.
Please, create the new page.
I had added it in the past but found some issues so I had to delete it from my page. Now that the issues have been fixed I need to re-add the app. I can not wait until f-commerce is available. Any advise?

FBML Facebooktab will work until Facebook-team stops FBML-technology. So you can continue using it on your pages.

So, just re-enter shop URL and re-add the tab to your page. Also you should check the App settings of your page under the page management and enable application showing in tab.

If you need our help, please, post the ticket to our support team and then will help you with facebook-page settings.


f-Commerce solution will be work separately from FBML-FacebookTab mod and you can both solutions on one store in the same time.

What is the issue? How to solve???

Since we haven't changed anything in the module and FB-application code, the issue can be related to the FBJS (facebook javascirpt) problems.
The fact is that the Facebook stopped supporting this technology at the 1st January of this year (here is the proof: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/fbjs/). And there can be an unexpected bugs which won't be fixed.
Moreover, the Facebook will disable the FBML technology at all at the 1st June, so we can't speak with confidence that the "FacebookTab" application will be working after that date.
