I'm working with x-cart 5.

I'm trying to change the background color of the product photos from white to black.

I element inspector and found:

#content .products div.product-photo, .products-grid div.product-photo {
background: #FFF none repeat scroll 0% 0%;
padding: 10px 0px;
margin-bottom: 20px;
border-radius: 0px;
}

I changed the background to #000 in the inspector and it looked perfect.

I copied the above code and added it to the Custom CSS in "look and feel" but it does not have any effect.

What is it I'm missing?

This issue appears to be related to the bug that has been fixed in ThemeTweaker version 5.2.7 (https://bt.x-cart.com/view.php?id=45019). Please install the available update in your X-Cart store.

Also, after installing the updates, clear the aggregation cache in your X-Cart admin back-end (Look o& Feel >> Performance).

did anyone manage to solve this problem because im having same issue i cant change the white background either and i posted same custom code in custom css

What is your X-Cart version? Please add it to your signature.

What theme does your X-Cart use? Does it have any custom tweaks already?

What is your custom CSS code?

On the page where you enter your custom CSS, did you switch "Use custom css" to "On"?
