Destination Zones
Can somebody explain how these work? Below the States level at the bottom there is a box marked Zip/postal code masks..

Please check this article:
http://kb.x-cart.com/display/XDD/Setting+up+destination+%28address%29+zones In the "Zip/Postal code mask" you can limit the zone to a pre-defined set of zip codes. Special "%" characters mean "any digits/letters" (so "23%" will match 23000, 23001, 23002, and even "2300001").
