Friendly URL and Site Map Add-on Programs

I see some people have used friendly url programs like this one:

and also the google site map add-ons offered by a number of different companies. I was wondering if these types of applications have helped with placement in search engines, and helped direct more traffic to your sites.

We use Jons seo mod CDSEO along with Carries Product Meta Tags Plus
and it makes a huge differance. These two mods imho are a must have.

Ryan, when you have a chance can you add your EXACT version to your signature? (i.e. 4.1.6)

The mods are well worth it, you might also be interested to know that the firetank advanced sitemap has built in compatiblity for CDSEO and DSEFU along with support for x-cart static catalog URLS too:

I have been thinking of getting a friendly URL mod, and from what I see there is the WebSiteCM SEO mod from http://www.websitecm.com/x-cart-mods/x-cart-seo-links.html AND CDSEO along with Carries Product Meta Tags Plus, has anyone done a "Feature" product comparison between these two mods? Any recommendation for best product?

The first link you specified is XNews + SEO Links, which provides a news script that uses SEO friendly links, but does not do anything for products or categories, so you would only want to use it if you were posting news and articles to keep your site fresh with content.

I highly recommend using the Product Meta Tags Plus mod and Sitemap with CDSEO.

I believe I entered the right URL, it takes me to CUSTOM DYNAMIC SEO LINKS FOR XCART (CDSEO LINKS) page, anyways, I do find that I entered the wrong information

sorry about that, if you will allow me, let me see if I can get back on track here, I'd like any user comments/comparison of these two products:

1. Custom Dynamic SEO Links for XCart (CDSEO LINKS) $150
2. Dynamic Search-Engine-Friendly URLs PRO (by SafetyNetWeb.com) $50

Besides the "obvious" price difference can someone fill me in as "best" product for the money (pros/cons of each), if you have purchased the Dynamic SEFU, I'd appreciate hearing from you too, they do seem to have a lot of websites using their product. Ease of installation, etc.
