Fedex real-time rates for X-Cart


Features for the rates-and-labels mod are:

• Display FedEx real-time rates for FedEx Ground, Home and Express services
• Optionally use the provider's (Pro) or admin's (Gold) address for shipment origin
• Choose whether to display your FedEx account's discounted rates or the list rates
• No more importing rate tables and adjusting fuel surcharges
• Optionally filter FedEx Ground and Home services offered based on customer info.
• Validates the customer's state and zip code ship to information via the FedEx server and returns error if not valid.
• Optionally adds phone validation to customer registration form to ensure value is correctly formatted for FedEx
• Optionally adds "PO Box" address validation to customer registration form to ensure "PO Box" address are not entered as FedEx will not ship to them.
• Optionally display FedEx tracking info directly in the history order template
• Optionally display delivery dates for FedEx Express services.
• Optionally run in label-only mode , enabling you to use your own defined FedEx shipping methods, bypassing the live rates.
• Configure options from within the X-Cart admin interface.
• Print FedEx labels on plain 8.5 X 11 paper.
• Optionally print order invoices on bottom half of page containing label.
• Filter orders in the XCart admin search interface to find orders using FedEx shipping.
• Print labels for multiple orders at one time.
• Specify delivery signature options for each main service type (FedEx Ground, Home and Express).
• Specify drop off location type, packaging and package dimensions .
• Choose date and time for shipping when printing labels.
• Optionally choose to not print your account number on the shipping labels.
• Add tracking number to order after label is printed.
• Optionally automatically update order status to 'Complete' on successful labels generated, sending the 'Order Complete' email which will contain the tracking number.
• All transactions with the FedEx server are logged to the X-Cart log directory.

What about international shipping? How does it handle that?

It doesn't currently fully support International Shipping yet for printing labels, because it doesn't produce all the neccessary customs documentation automatically. Rating for international shippments is supported however.
This functionality also depends on your FedEX account permissions.

From your pulldown to select the X-Cart version, there is 4.0x and 4.1x. When I place the order for version 4.1.6, should I select 4.1x from your pulldown? I just want to make sure I will be ordering for the correct version. I don't see a 4.1.x choice from the pulldown so I just want to make sure.

Yes, the 4.1x branch option has deliverables for all 4.1 versions including 4.16
