Default "Hurry Up" module for X-Cart 5

A new module for X-Cart 5 has been released - Hurry Up.

Quote:
The module enables product page notifications conveying to the page viewer that they are not the only one interested in the product they are looking at, and the product may not always be available. The sense of urgency encourages the prospective buyers to make an on-the-spot buying decision.

Feel free to send me a message if you notice a bug or just want to suggest an improvement for the module.

Thanks!

Purchased it, it doesn't work right at all. It says a product has been purchased 465 times within the last 24 hours when it was actually only purchased maybe once. Ditto every product, it shows some astronomical number of purchases that did not occur within the last 24 hours. Did you test this? Then when I try to disable only that part of it(how many purchases within the last 24 hours), it will not disable and still shows regardless of recache the browser, etc. So basically I can't use it as of now. The last thing I want my competitors to think is that I sold 465 of these within the last 24 hours, I'll have new people getting into my business by the droves.

Hello Kevin,

Yes, I tested it, and it did work on the test dump with demo products.
Right now I'm checking why it doesn't work on your site...

---

UPDATE: I believe I've found the cause of the problem. The new 5.3.0.2 version of the module should fix it. However, due to the marketplace system restrictions, I cannot publish it until tomorrow. So, I've asked our support staff to tweak the wrong file right on your server (feel free to overwrite it later when upgrading to 5.3.0.2).

I'm looking for input from anybody that is using this module. Have you seen a noticeable increase in conversion rates? Thanks!
