Hi,

1. How do I add the number of items in cart to display in the "Shopping Cart" tab (in addition to "cart")

2. How do I add a pop up window when customer adds an item to cart that would include the "continue shopping" and "Proceed to checkout" buttons?

Both of these are built in features. Its possible your template has been customized and it does not take advantage of these things.

Add to cart popup is a module, you can turn it on under Settings->Modules.

What template are you using? Under General Settings-> Appearance

I'm using Ideal Responsive, also have Add to cart popup enabled but it doesn't show the popup window

It's possible that your skin might be customized, and the customization may have broken these pieces. I would have to look at the store in question to help you further. Can you provide the link to the site?

I guess you use the 4.6.6 version, not 4.5.5 as stated in your signature.

Do you mean the black "Shopping cart" tab at the top of the page? If so, it is the "Speed bar" - http://help.x-cart.com/index.php?title=X-Cart:Speed_Bar

It is just a list of links that you can manage in the back end, and it doesn't show the number of items in the cart.

2. How do I add a pop up window when customer adds an item to cart that would include the "continue shopping" and "Proceed to checkout" buttons?

As far as I see the product page displays variants in a table. Is it a custom mod? It may that this is the thing that cause the "Add to cart Pop-up" stop working.

Yes the table was custom made, I'll contact them again to fix it thank u

Another question plz: when I search a manufacturer's name on site it doesn't find it, also when I search for all products on admin it's coming up with no finds. Is this related to the custom table?

The quick search bar at the top gives me no results if I leave the field empty. However, the Catalog -> Products page show me all products for the "empty" search.

Also, the quick search doesn't look into product manufacturers. The Products page has a separate field to search among manufacturers.
