Adding fields to the Export Orders file.

Hi,

Does anybody know how to add the order !DATE and an extra field !NEW_FIELD to the exported [ORDER_ITEMS] csv file?

You have to modify php files to accomplish this

I have done some php mods before, nothing too complicated.

Which files would I need to look in?
Or even better, any idea how to do it please?

I have the same question, and need a bit of help. Version 4.1.9
5 extra fields were added to the product page some time ago but somehow the export no longer shows those extra fields. (perhaps the file was over-written somehow)

1- where would I find the product page to get those extra fields info (I did not find so far, the file under admin)
2. I don't see any admin/export.php but did see this one - include/export.php- is this the correct php file to be modified?

Any help would be appreciated from this non-programmer.

Got as far as finding the tpl that has the extra fields. (skin1/main/product_details.tpl.

Now I checked this: skin1/main/orders_export.tpl Shouldn't that file show the extra fields? If no, where would I look?

Fedex is ready to hook into the shopping cart, and now the extra fields don't show up in the csv so it will not sync. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

I've shown how to add the date of order as a column (and how to format it properly from timestamp to legible date/time), however I'm not sure what new_field you're referring to adding?
