Keep in mind that you don't HAVE to upgrade - if your site is running fine on 4.1, leave it. The only reason to upgrade is if you absolutely have to have one of the new features (dimensional shipping, pre-auth/capture).

Yes, tables are fine for displaying tabular data, but I'm not sure where exactly a tabular data is used on the x-cart front end?

The product display grid (when in multiple columns) and the forms come to mind.

I would look forward to the speed increases, if there are any that is. Should we be worried that Yslow nags about a number of improvements that could be made? :X

My main thinking was the css layout, and how much more the search engines like it.... as well as the lightness of it. I suppose we could pick up one of those skins, that would effectively work the same, correct...

Some security issue is causing me from editing my templates. tried everything, worked for 4 hours to make it work. IT DOESNT. It looks like they have implemented a sec. issue like the guys from microsoft did with vista. IT SUCKS.
