Loose autogenerate category description field <P> tag

Default Loose autogenerate category description field <P> tag
Hi Guys,

Noted the Category Description field seems to generate both
or

tags depending on the type of content either html or img tag. Would really like to use html but would like these extra tags removed. Anyone know how it might happen.
