Default Inventory Pricing ( Sale ) Mod & product category manage

Get rid of over stocked, low selling items!
Quickly adjust the prices of all or part of your inventory!

Easily increase or decrease the price of a group of products with just a few clicks!

Search Products Based On:
-Price Range (min and max price)
-Category
-Product Title
-Product SKU
-Low Selling Products

Change prices using either a fixed dollar amount or a percentage.

New Feature!
Add items automatically to a category of your choice or remove the items automatically from a category of your choice. Great for putting items into a "sale" category and later removing them from that category.

This mod was too complex to give out for free, so I have it for sale on my store. I do have a $5 coupon running for the whole month of May for this product. Just enter "inventory" (minus the double quotes) in the coupon area in checkout to get $5 off!

You can check it out here:
http://www.bcsengineering.com/store/catalog/Inventory_Pricing_Xcart_Modification_35x-p-20.html

Be sure and fill out your shop domain to be eligible for 3 months of upgrades!

Carrie

P.S. Right now I only have PayPal (credit cards and echecks), checks and money orders as available payment methods. I hope to have credit cards enabled by the end of the week. Having a bit of a snag getting it to work.

Yup it looks like it's shaping up nicely, certainly a useful mod around the festive periods.

Thanks Boomer and Groovico!

So far I have gotten a good response from it and am pleased.

I've now created a version for 3.5.x PRO. Anyone interested can check it out here.
http://www.bcsengineering.com/store/catalog/Inventory_Pricing_Xcart_Modification_35x_PRO-p-24.html

Coupon for the Pro version is "inventorypro" without the double quotes.

Default Quickly add and remove a group of products from a category.

I never even though of mentioning this feature. You can use this mod to also add a group of products to an additional category, or to remove a group of products from a category. All you have to do is enter a 0 change in price.

The mod will search for a free categoryid in the products and will add it to the next available category id. If there isn't an available categoryid, it won't add it to that category unless the force add is selected.

Only a few more days left for the $5 coupons for this mod (until the end of May). Take advantage of them while you can!

Carrie,
Im looking for a mod that will allow automatically the copying of products from one category to another for 4 0 18.

So that I can have a category called 1 - $100
$101 to $500 for example

I can also call a category SALE or Clearance.

I want to be able to search my Inventory and move those products to that
category.

Will this mod of urs do it for 4 0 18?

Yes actually it will. You just enter a 0 price change and then tell it to add the products to a new category.

Let me know if you have more questions!

Thanks,

Carrie

"You just enter a 0 price change"

I dont get it

I want to have in the front end "shop by price"
$1 to $100
$200 to $200 and so on

So with your mod, I want to tell xcart in the admin area
that products that are in the price range of $0 to $100, to
put them in the Category called "$0 to $100"

Also, if the the price today is $150, and next week the price is changed manually by admin to $75, will it remove itself from the
$100 to $200 cat and move to the $0 to $100 cat?

I see.

No you have to change the categories manually. There's no auto cron of it or anything.

The inventory pricing mod is geared towards mass price changes. I added the ability to add the products you change to a category, so you can at the same time easily add them to say a "Sale" category.

So if you want to move products without changing their price at the same time, you enter a $0 price change.

So I was assuming you just wanted to manually move products to categories.

So yes you can use this, but only if you move them to the categories when you do the price changes.

To auto do what you want would take some different kind of coding. Most likely not using categories, but using an auto search for products of that price range.

Let me know if you need us to create something like that (you can email us at support).

There may be some mods in here that do that. I seem to think so but I'm not sure.

Thanks,

Carrie
