The prices on my website include VAT and show that ("including VAT" is displayed next to each catalogue item). The shopping cart calculates VAT properly and displays it separately; for example, it shows:

Including VAT: £3.80

The order summary, what is in the email sent to the customer, displays the prices including VAT (without noting that they include VAT) and then shows the VAT as 0. This is confusing.

How can I make it so that:
1. The prices on the websites will be displayed, like now, including VAT, but also:
2. The order summary would display the item prices without VAT and then the display the correct VAT in the VAT field?

Thanks, but the Australian shop, if that is what you referred to, had a different problem. In the meantime things got worse:

I played with the VAT module and something broke. Now even though I set "Display 'inc/ex VAT' labels next to prices" to "On all catalogue pages", the "inc VAT" text is NOT displayed. I tried to re-deploy the shop, but that didn't solve it. I'm at lost.

That's closer. In Order details->Invoice and in the email the VAT is not even mentioned. In the Order details->General info the VAT is noted at the bottom as 0. That's incorrect. I'd like every detailed view to note the VAT properly, while keeping the prices throughout the catalogue and product pages displayed including VAT.

I have a more serious problem, as even when the VAT is displayed, it's incorrect. The other thread's problem was only that the VAT wasn't displayed sometimes, but when it was displayed, it was correct. Maybe it's because our prices are displayed already including VAT, so then the VAT field refers to any additional VAT and so is noted as 0, as there's nothing additional... But that's not the correct way to do it.
