Good morning everyone,

We have an x-cart site that offers over a thousand products. What I would like to do is create a printed catalog for my sales people to use as a tool when they are on the field. Is there a way to export the information and images in a way that would easily allow me to import it into Adobe InDesign or at the very least as a PDF? I found a tool that will create a PDF file but it's not exactly what I'm looking for.

That's the one I used. Unfortunately, it is not pulling my product descriptions and won't create a file in which I can add a template that I've built. It is a great tool but I want to know if there is something out there that will allow me to edit on a higher level.

Ask them to customize it for you.

You can use Store Manager for X-Cart by MagneticOne to create such catalog (and export it into PDF etc)
You will be able to completely customize it with minimal technical skills.

You will also easily select necessary products by any criteria (advanced filtering).
