Template Questions
Firstly thanks to the guys who have helped me with my silly questions up until now. I am still struggling along and have a few questions I cant seem to get the answer to:
1. Should the html catalogue generate a page exactly like my page except its static - I seem to lose my hand done menu and all my menu image links : see www.naturalvetcompany.com/home.php and www.naturalvetcompany.com/catalog 2. Is it possible to generate a menu looping just one subcategory tree - i.e on my page I have the conditions down one side but would love to autogenerate this but cant work it out. I have numbered the categories for these particular group >500 3. Should I put all js functions in a .js as a rule or is it ok to stick them in home.php head. 4. How do I get my products into those nice little boxes when I display a subcategory - every site I see seems to have them but I cant work out how I do it - presumably in subcategories.tpl do I just put a coloured border on a td or something? This may sound stupid but my mind is like a bowl of spaghetti although it is all becoming a bit clearer. Thanks again for helping, this forum really makes a difference I would be absolutely lost without it. If any of you want advice on dogs........ Vivienne |
