That means GOLD is still GOLD with all the features we offered in this edition earlier except Product Configurator (aka X-Configurator) and Feature Comparison modules (they are in Platinum edition now) and Gold Plus is improved GOLD with the most popular extensions included into default distributive package. Price difference between GOLD Plus and GOLD is less than GOLD + all those extensions vs just GOLD.

Well, advertising a shopping cart like a PCI compliant one is like advertising a car that has wheels and engine. But we will think about your suggestion!

X-Cart is PCI compliant because it does not touch credit card data yet integrates with the most popular credit card processors. I would say X-Cart is out of PCI scope. X-Payments is in PCI scope as it receives, transmits and process credit card data.

First of all, as Maxim Vydrin commented earlier, your PRO license won't cease. You can continue using it. We will provide updates for PRO for entire year ahead.

If you want to start using Platinum Edition which is multi-vendor X-Cart with additional bells and whistles - you need to buy license upgrade from PRO to Platinum - http://www.x-cart.com/license-upgrades.html

Platinum is not just more expensive PRO. It is a new edition with many paid extensions included out of the box + 1 yr support and installation. If you purchased the same products separately it would cost you much more. Platinum is our solution for large businesses.

It seems there are a lot of issues found mainly by ADDISON. Are you planning to re-release 4.5.3? If not you should probably advise everyone NOT to upgrade to 4.5.3 but wait on 4.5.4
