Hi All,

I have a a store which sells almost everything below market price with the exception of 1 product range.

Now when you input the list price and price as the same value, none of the prices show on the products pages.

Is there a way to just show the price in this case?

Hmm yet on another store both prices are the same and they show up........

must be a missed setting somewhere.

This is a little weird... in our store we hardly ever have different price and list price on our products and the prices always show up. Did you do any editing to the product_details template which might have removed an else statement somewhere?

The strange thing is for all other products it is fine, it's just this one brand which does not show.

I am thinking something might have gotten deleted or edited in the product_details.tpl, something like an else statement.. which is why that brand/category isn't showing up because all the others have different list price/price values.

Like,

if the price < list price
display list price with strikethrough it
display price
display you save XX%

else
display price


or something like that, I think I might have gotten them backward.. but anywho, if the 'else' statement is not there or something is wrong with it, it won't display the price.

The x-Cart Wiki says you can just leave list price set to 0.00 if you aren't going to use it, have you tried that?
