You say 4.4.2, but your website seems to say that it is for 4.3 or below.

One more question. My store (client's) is using fixed rate shipping, so we don't have weights on the products. Is it possible to use the module's functions by supply the weight for the shipment? Or would we be required to add product weights and switch to realtime mode? I did notice that we can still do fixed rate shipping, just wondering how that works.

Fedex requires that a you provide a weight for a shipment when a label is generated.
So you would need to enter weights for your products.
We are planning a new module that would allow you to specify the weight of the shipment when you are processing the order, which might be something you would be interested in.

Yes, I would be much more interested in being able to provide the weight rather than calculating it, since that isn't always as accurate as needed for actual shipping weights.

For several of my customer, we could never get the accuracy to allow the cart to provide the fedex weight as the total weight really depends on what combination of times is purchased and how they are boxed together. Plus none of my customers are use RT shipping, they are all using fixed rate shipping, since that works easiest with a free shipping option.

I'll keep my eye out for your update. Any ETA? (Even a rough idea?)

I submitted a support ticket at your site, but thought maybe a post here would be beneficial as well.

I was wondering if you guys are still offering this module!? In your shopping cart system it says it's out of stock. Does that mean you've stopped selling it? Does it still work with X-Cart 4.4.4? I could really use this functionality for a client's site.

Thanks for the interest.
The deal is that Fedex are phasing out an older API that the module is based upon and is no longer creating meter numbers for that API.
We are working on new version of the Fedex Labels module based on the new API and plan to release it shortly.

Is there any kind of tentative timeline as to when this module will be released? Is "shortly" a week? A month? Just want to gauge if this is something I could potentially take advantage of or if I'll have to find another option.

I have written to you by email and am waiting to hear back. So I thought I would post here as well.

We have been using an older version of RudyMods for a couple of years on X-cart 4.0.x and we are now upgrading to X-cart 4.4.

I understand that you are working on a new version of the Fedex Labels module based on the new API, but we cannot wait for that to happen. We need to put our X-cart 4.4. store into production now.

1. Does the X-cart 4.4 version of RubyMods work?
2. If it does, can you please get us that version.
