My store is set to Merchant wave so that I do not get confusing messages like this or get upgrades/updates pushed to me unless they are stable.
But yet, I get notifications for new upgrades/updates with this message:

Developer wave. You license key is set up to get upgrades in the Merchant wave. Therefore, upgrading may require some technical assistance on your part. If you are not prepared to deal with upgrade issues that may arise when upgrading in the developer wave, please, wait for the merchant wave. Your can switch to the merchant wave on this page

I thought the whole point of having a store set to Merchant is so that users do not get upgrades pushed to them until they are stable?
