Default Adding Accessory Items to Product Pages

Anybody have some ideas on how to incorporate accessory items within the individual product pages.

Each product could have separate accessories.

For Example, You are selling a Computer and want to list additional Memory, Cables, keyboards, etc.

Thanks

There has been a lot of discussion about this lately.

You can use the X-cart product configurator, but most agree that this module fails to deliver a good user experience for most cases.

Check the options discussed in this thread:

Pretty sure that we are talking about a product with assigned subproducts that are bundled under the main.

A custom built computer is a perfect example, you pick your series of pc "Custom Built Platinum Series Alienware Computer" then once you select the product you are able to specify the graphics card, memory, hard drive, etc with each of these pieces being real products in your store, each with inventory tracking and possibly available for purchase separately.
