Default Highlighting specific categories
is there any way to change the color of a single catagory in the category column. Now they are all defined in the .css

Any way to split them up to highlight a 'clearance' section somehow.

You would need to hard code them or use an {if} statement to apply a certain format to a specific category. See this thread for a little more assistance:
