Hello. I wanted to know if there was anyway to move the order of a category on the top menu. I would like to make a certain category first in the list, but the only problem is, I believe this particular category is a static one...I can't figure out how to move it.

Please check it out...my website is www.HouseofMysteriousSecrets.com. At the top menu, there is a category that's 2nd to last called "New!". I would like that to be first, right before "Pre-Orders". But I can't figure it out. Is there some easy way to move it? I'm not a programmer, so any PHP coding stuff might be a little tricky for me.

You can alter the order of categories / sub categories and pages within their respective admin pages.
They are the same admin pages, where it's possible to switch the display of categories / sub categories and pages on or off, which you may have done already.
Your question? Go to: *yourdomain*/admin.php?target=categories and use the ✠ icon to move them up or down and then the Save changes button at the bottom.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. My situation is a little different, because this category that I want to move isn't a normal category. It is listed under the addon "Product Advisor" and the page is called "New arrivals", I just changed the text from "new arrivals" to "new!". For whatever reason, that page isn't showing on my catalogs/categories directory. Do you know what I mean?

It would have been better to make that clear in your original post

Yes. You mean this Add-On which we don't use unfortunately and never have, so therefore can't help with your enquiry.

Other XC5 users who do use that module and/or @qualiteam will be the people to ask

Thanks again! I appreciate you taking the time to respond. Hopefully someone might be able to help me out, or I will just have to submit a ticket to the X-Cart team.
