Hello,

I've had OPC installed now for a few months and has been working great, every now and then i get an email from a customer who cannot complete an order becuase it will not display shipping rates. When i log in as the customer through the admin, it shows it fine for me.

Anything I can try at all?

I have had problems in firefox with it showing the shipping rates twice and then not letting me checkout.

why not ask bill? he super helpful. sure he would figure it out. he'd probably want to know if there was a problem with the mod.

I have noticed that it tends to occur when a customer has an invalid zip code entry, usually an extra blank space at the end of the 5 digit zip code. It will not display shipping rates unless there is a city, state and zip code properly entered/selected.

I wish the mod's error message concerning shipping rates was clearer (or that it would not occur at all) because customers can't figure out what is wrong and unless they tell us and we explain what the need to do to get through it we lose some customers.

Turn this option off General Settings -> Modules -> One Page Checkout -> Redirect to the non-AJAX one page checkout when an error occurs loading the checkout page

It is not needed anymore because each section has a reload option if needed. Additionally this can be triggered by a browser plugin, or just about any other JS code running on your site.

This is odd, the code removes the spaces before and after the zip before processing. If this is something you can reproduce on your site please contact me support@alteredcart.com and I will find out why the space isn't being properly trimmed.

(Also, in the next update there will be much more detailed error messages. I agree this would be helpful.)

Bill Should we all shut off this option? And your next update, how can we know when its available and can be installed.
