Default summary link in admin menu leading to blank page

For some reason every link works in the admin area of my site except for the summary link (1st link in the administration menu), it just displays a completly blank page????

Any thoughts.

The X-Cart version for this store is 3.4.11

Thanks.....

clear the templates cache

run cleanup.php

or delete the whole templates_c directory and try again

Hey AKR,

the path to the template to restore is /admin/main/general.tpl.

From the Edit Templates link in the Administration menu jujst follow the path above and click Restore File.

Good luck though, It has not worked for me and being the insignifigance of the information contained on that page I just have not had time to pursue it. Please let me know if you do find a fix for it and I will do the same.

also check your php files to see if you have any that are 0 bytes in size ( ie empty) you may have corrupted something along the way.

replace any that are broken / empty

This happened to me... I used the security patch offered by x-cart instead of replacing files because I have mods. For some reason the patch made the summary page blank.

To fix it I uploaded general.php (the entire file) and all other files found in the admin folder of the security update. I then cleared templates_c and all was better.

Another thing to check is skin1/admin/home.tpl or skin1/single/home.tpl, the middle area with the comments may need to be updated, since this is where the $main var is read to display the proper template file.
