Default Masking the cart URL?

Does anyone know of a way to mask the full URL that shows up in the address bar? I have a client that doesn't want to show the full string, just her domain.

I don't know if it's possible unless you get another domain and point it to the domain and mask it.

You can do that with frames,
but that would be one hell of an undertaking, since i don't think links default to target _self

If she's wanting to do it to put say domain1.com over domain2.com then you'll also have problems with IE P3P privacy policy blocking lots you really don't want blocked.

IE treats anything under the main domain as a 3rd party site.

Thank you for your feedback on this. I didn't think it was really feasible, but had to ask and make sure.

What about an Iframe? Does anyone else have an idea on that. It would still be on the same site. Just use an iframe and add the customer/home.php as the default page. I added an ifram on a site to have phpbb inside there x-cart site. You can see an ifram work by checking out their site

http://www.smilecamusa.com/store/customer/pages.php?pageid=34

and yes I know the flash doesnt stretch across the site but that was what customer wanted and since they paid for it they got it how they wanted it. I do however think this would work for you. Let me know if you need the iframe code to make it work and I will send it to you.
