PHP 5.3 is available on X-Cart hosting http://www.x-cart.com/hosting.html

Also, someone from http://marketplace.x-cart.com/hosting/ may have it, too.

I just downloaded an Alpha from a Free Open-Source. I could install it without any problem. If your Alphas cannot be installed, just wait to supply Betas.

I would like to test LC3, but for the moment I cannot install your script.

The PHP development team would like to announce the immediate availability of PHP 5.2.16. This release marks the end of support for PHP 5.2. All users of PHP 5.2 are encouraged to upgrade to PHP 5.3.

So I believe many hosting providers will upgrade PHP quite soon.

So just wondering ...

If I installed and developed a site in LC3 (when officially released), would it be possible to upgrade to XC5 when available, without much problem?

I apologize for my lack of knowledge on the Subject.. however i have quick question.

does LC run ON Drupal, or is it a standalone plugin ,module , component for Drupal ? , and are plans being made to work with other mammoth CMS's such as Joomla or Mambo?

I second this question, is it based on drupal in any way or is it stand-alone.
If you have no plans to support other CMS platforms how closely coupled is it with Drupal, how possible would it be for someone else to integrate it with another CMS.

It will be release as a standalone applicationa as well or so they say. But I would also like to know if the new xcart will be developed as a module for drupal?
