Hi all,

Trying to find a simple way of creating a dynamic og:image for my Xcart store pages. For product X, we want a relevant image, another for product Y etc.

Easy to do a static one that's the same across the whole site (surprisingly even that's not a standard output of Xcart), but it's a dynamic one I'm after.

Anyone done this before or know of an easy way to do this?

Actually, XC5 does populate the og:image meta tag with image created from the product picture - check this page: https://demostore.x-cart.com/dota-2-sniper-plush.html
And you can adjust the og: tags for a product (see the "Open Graph meta tags" field when editing a product).

Aha! No I don't. Activating that now.

That's fixed it on product pages but it's not adding any tags to category pages and the shop homepage. What could cause that? I've cleared the aggregation cache and widget cache with no effect.

It should work - as far as I see, in the source code of the 5.2.x version of the module, there is the code that render Open Graph meta tags for categories and SimpleCMS pages: XLite\Module\CDev\GoSocial\Model\Category and XLite\Module\CDev\GoSocial\Model\Page

Hi ! I have the same problem (it's not adding any tags to category pages and the shop homepage) but support says I have to update the product to 5.3, that they are not supporting 5.2 (even though its a bug). Is there any way to fix this ?
