Lightbulb Future is now: Responsive CSS Frameworks

If you don't update your website layout to mobile devices you risk lot of bad things in the next year.

Responsive CSS Framework (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Responsive_web_design) is not a new concept, but it became very popular in the latest years. All started with the famous 960.gs Fluid Grid.

Now there are many CSS Frameworks on the market. jQuery UI did not manage to fill some gaps and many developers started to fill them.

Personally I am working right now for testing the following CSS Frameworks:

- Foundation 3 (http://foundation.zurb.com/)
- Bootstrap (http://twitter.github.com/bootstrap/
- 960.gs (http://960.gs)
- Gumby (http://www.gumbyframework.com/)
- Responsive Grid System (http://www.responsivegridsystem.com/)

After working with them I could say the battle is between Foundation 3 and Bootstrap. I like both of them. Bootstrap is great for web applications, Foundation 3 for web designs. If we could bring Bootstrap in XC for sure it will become more attractive as User Interface and functionality. XC will get a Responsive Layout which will deal with any device on the market.

Check here how nice would be layout for XC:

https://wrapbootstrap.com/

Good article about Bootstrap:

jQuery Bootstrap - just awesome:

Please fill free to share you experience (in case you have one) using such of CSS Frameworks. If will be great if XC developers will take seriously in consideration using these Framework to improve User Interface. Believe me it worth every penny.

For guys who like Adobe Fireworks and Bootstrap framework, there is a plugin for making the things happening in a second:

I love it.
