Hello, X-Carters!

Thank Ksenia for detailed press-release in our blog and I would like to initiate forum discussion here.

Here are the main key features of new release:

1. Product Comparison module.

This feature uses "Products Attributes" functionality and allows you to compare products basing on their attributes.

2. Product Filter

On the same demo page you can have a look for layered navigation also based on Products Attributes

Sorry that you can test it only on 3 products, our team is working on preparing better test data for testing purpose.

3. Cloning feature and products list look&feel

We reworked our products list in admin area to make it more easy and useful. Simple search, simple editing, simple cloning.

4. REST API

Just let me quote Ksenia's words:

This is a great news for developers, especially those ones, who develop integrations with 3rd party systems. The REST API module is at your service from now on! The tool is very convenient as you will be able to securely work with the store data without direct access to the server.
In addition to the module itself we supply detailed development documentation. We also provide the library which will speed up the creation of PHP applications using REST API. This library uses Guzzle framework.

Upgrades

The upgrades will be available for installed stores in several days (please, be patient, it is limitation of our upgrade center). Please, follow the upgrade wizard, it's very simple in X-Cart Next.
