Hi There~

I did updated my head.tpl by "Edit templates",
it looks fine on the preview page with css,
but I cannot see changing on my website,
I do even re-compile all the templates, but it doesn't work,

otherwise, I found that the phone number on the page is "1-800-555-5555"

I tried to get into the "Languages" page, but I couldn't find it,
is there somewhere else I can update it?

re-compile? Do you mean you cleared the cache with cleanup.php or you used "compile templates" under Edit Templates? If you actually compiled all the templates (reverse it) all language variables are now inserted into the templates with their real value. So if you change language variable it won't affect the site.
Phone number is under General Settings/Company Options, is not a language variable

OMG.. so what should I do now?
I just want to update the tpl files,
when I replace the logo.gif, it works(of coz),
but when I remove the head.tpl, nth happened. (because of compile?)
how can I modify the page?

I tried to preview it in "edit templates", it works
and then I run the cleanup.php, then get in my website again,
I saw all the old stuffs, please hlp... thanks a lot.

it should be:
skin1/customer/head.tpl

Ok so you were editing the wrong file. Glad it turns out ok. In 4.2.x they moved all customer related templates under skin1/customer
