[MODULE] XC SEO v1.4.0 Released for X-Cart 4.0 and 4.1

mike@eternitywebdev.com, the errors you are getting don't appear to have anything to do with this module. Did you modify anything else recently, something to do with shipping? That could be the culprit.

Didn't touch anything related to shipping. I have been modifying templates here and there, but nothing shipping related at all. I went ahead and added that "expiration_date" column to the shipping cache table and that got rid of the errors. But when I initiate the module it doesn't work, I get 404 errors for the re-written URL's.

Do you think it is something related to my "hand-patching" of the files? That's the only thing I can think of. If ANYONE has version of auth.php, get_languages.php and https.php from xcart v4.1.11 that have been successfully patched with the new version of SEO Mod Basic, Please PM me and let me know. Thanks for nay and all help on this issue!

for those wish to buy this mod, it does not work, it has bug, i paid $120, but the generate button does not work, seller jon just never respond my emails, i sent tons of it and had to file disput from paypal, the worst thing was this mod alter the database structure, and now it change my other mods, so bad.

XC SEO v1.4.0 is a free mod. I have installed with no issues. I have no idea what the "generate button" is you refer to. This mod automatically changes a url such as www.yourdomain.com/product.php?productid=18606&cat=254 to www.yourdomain.com/What-Ever-Your Product-Title-Is-p-18606.html.

I think you may be confused as to what SEO module you are referring to.

The files you requested should be attached. One thing I noticed is you asked for "get_languages.php" when it should be "language" (no "s") maybe this could be your problem if it is mis-named somewhere.

I am looking for Jon.

I am using XCSEO on my site and I need help with a problem that has developed and I also need to purchase an additional license for my secondary site.

Jon seems to have disappeared and his site is down.

jon never replied you, even i filed the dispute from paypal, i paid $120 for xcseo pro, not the free mod, never try his pro version, it does not work.

I have been very happy with jon's work up until now - he helped me alot in the past - for free.

I don't want to say anything against him but I AM looking for him

i agreed, jon did help me a lot, but it does mean he could sell the mod with bug, i paid 120 bucks with nothing, of course, i will feel nothing if it's free, what do you think if he charged you $120 and the mod does not work and no respond from then, just imagine, you won't laugh

I guess it's time to move on. Jon helped me as well. I was hoping to work with him on other projects including some product development. Can anyone suggest which product might be the next best thing to XCSEO PRO? I understand people are having problems with this application. I'm using it and realize it is not perfect but it's doing a good job on one of my sites.

What I'd really like to find out is if the competing products really do put a strain on the server. Do they work perfectly? Which one is best?

Also, we should all keep in mind that anything could have happened to this guy. He might have been hit by a car, had a stroke or had a mental breakdown. Anything is possible. I can't imagine that anyone who is passionate about this type of work would burn people for a few dollars.
