I believe that this module will help my workflow; however, is there a way that products can be scanned with a barcode scanner like in the POS system. If this works as I believe it does I believe that more interest will be had if it had a better description and possibly a demo store mode in the backend as the price and the description do not match....

Questions?

1. Can products be scanned with a barcode scanner?
2. Does it add the products and attributes in one fell swoop?
3. Can other api be added other than itemmaster, aerse, and outpan?

No, I have purchased that already. I am looking to put in products easier by upc. The module sounds like it is what I need it to do but it is not enough information on the website. God bless you!

1. Can products be scanned with a barcode scanner?

Yes, UPC can be entered using a barcode scanner - into any field of any form, without exclusions; however, to initiate a search within a form, the button on the form has to be clicked separately.

2. Does it add the products and attributes in one fell swoop?

No, product creation is not currently implemented - only the addition of data to an already existing product

3. Can other api be added other than itemmaster, aerse, and outpan?

Only the named APIs have been added. We also have plans to implement Amazon search.

Thanks Max, I wanted to purchase the module but it seems that I must wait. The scanner in pos works differently as it does not need to refresh or click through in order to implement data. This was what I was inquiring about but to click would not be a huge problem.

I will have to process truckloads of skus this is why I am asking and looking for a convenient setup for ease of use. The addition of Amazon would be perfect as I would web-scrape this information from the asin but if this is implemented it would be a huge time saver.
