Hi,

I've gone online this morning and some of my text is missing from the site.

The speedbar text, and the dialog titles.

I've removed the template cache, and forced the cache regeneration, and manually repaired the languages table but it's still not there?

Anything I can do to fix it?

Just a thought but has your host changed the php version? Have you installed the necessary patches for if/when this occurs? I had one host years ago that the "nerds" there always wanted the "latest and greatest" and would upgrade everything without notice. Needless to say, they are a "previous host" now.

The "Speedbar" text from memory, is not kept in the xcart_languages sql table (so not surprised that repairing languages does not fix this) - easiest way will be to check your speedbar set-up in X-Cart Admin -> Administration for Speedbar.

In regards to "dialog" titles - I am not 100% sure what you mean by "dialog", but if it is product title, then it would perhaps be short product description, kept within the xcart_products table? (in older versions, this short description data can be auto removed, when importing prices or options/variants data - bug really in my opinion, but needless to say does happen... and in newer versions, I saw X-Cart say that when full product description is not empty, that they then don't by default show short product description, when in the older versions, both when both had data inside)...

I had a quick look at the site found in your profile here - but your site appeared to be fine... have you already fixed this problem now?

PS: it is important as Jwait says, to also determine how the titles disappearing actually happened (was it just corruption, someone imported via CSV some data which over-wrote titles, a php version change or what actually caused the problem).
