We are planning to stay in the UK till March 3rd so I think we have time to discuss something privately, too.

Hi Alex

Thanks for your response. Luckily we have been to Russia and the CCCP too... So we can tell you that Richmond on Thames is certainly not the same as cities like Novgorod, Yekaterinburg, Irkutsk or Vladivostok (not been to Ulyanovsk) so you should all enjoy your UK Visit in terms of comparisons / perspectives.

The ticket fee explanation is good to hear and you can now understand why thinking about that policy and explaining it clearly - in advance - would have been much better - for everyone. Again, it was never about the financial value, it was the approach that was just so odd... As sponsors, PayPal UK could have also helped your team understand that in advance too. It's not as though they aren't familar with online UK Promotion and Marketing

We look forward to meeting and welcoming all your team members on the 27th - and asking lots of questions!

A good post ITVV

FWIW we've certainly already demonstrated great Mancunian humour by voluntarily "buying" tickets for an Event held South of Watford.... That would probably have caused serious Tea spillage in Yorkshire?

You obviously have Yorkshire friends

Great Mancunian humour - love it.

Looking forward (hopefully) to a good catch-up.

Kind regards to all

Hi again Alex

Just a suggestion based on the feedback received so far here on the forum. Could we not have a slightly more "formal" presentation / focus group meeting starting at say 14:30.

We could then carry on in the bar in a more relaxed, informed way to carry on the discussions / friendship meet-up?

Just trying to get the maximum out of our meet / time together.

@johngwms - I *think* that the x-cart team would like to focus this event at the UK / Mancunian / European market. Perhaps not spreading the net to wide?

Kind regards to all

ITVV (Nick)

That's a good idea indeed. Just let me check with the sponsors if they can provide something in their offices for us to make such meeting.

Basing on our US meet-ups experience discussing & beer was very productive for everyone But if to remember everything from our US trips we actually had some meetings before the Beer meet-up

@ambal

What Triple A Racing means by "...serious Tea spillage in Yorkshire" is that, by legend, Yorkshire people don't like parting with money

The very mention of us Yorkshire People "buying" tickets would cause us to spill tea

Not so sure that I explained that very well

Kind regards to all

A bit of top - I heard British tanks and other armored vehicles are equipped with teapots. I even saw some photos on Facebook about that.

Hi Guys,

I've registered for the meet this morning also - really looking forward to it.
I'll be traveling from Ireland to be with you
We're hoping to have our first XC5 product released by then - that will give us something to talk about. Will be great to get the official word on the XC5 direction and 3rd party developer supports.

regards
Will
