Default Feeds...Firetank or Magneticone?

I'm looking for a feed manager (Google Merchant, Shopzilla, Bing)...the forum seems to have more posts about the one from Firetank versus Magnetic One.....just wondering why? Magnetic One seems to have more feed options. Based upon the forums, I would probably lean towards Firetank but the website (and product description) at Magnetic One is far superior...what am I missing?

Default Re: Feeds...Firetank or Magneticone?

A few key differences:

Our's Feed Manager feeds (www.firetanksoftware.com) are built to be as future proofed and as flexible as possible, we support x-cart 3.X through to 4.4.X along with full variant support and other filtering features.

It's more extensible in terms of what you can do within our interface on the feed data, we support internal fields, php snippets, support for 3rd party software like CDSEO from websitecm, all the various x-cart URL formats etc along with letting you generate custom ones if you have anything special on your site.

FeedManager feeds can be:
- Downloaded from the interface
- Emailed to you
- Saved to the server
- FTP'd automatically

You can also create autofeeds which will do any or all of the above which you can trigger using windows scheduler or linux cron or even by going to a specific URL.

You'll also find that we're specialists in x-cart so our add ons are focused 100% on x-cart and we've had a long history dating back to 2003 with x-cart and many developers on the forums.

We also don't have to make concessions in our software in order to support other carts, ours are built for x-cart from the ground up.

If you'd like to try ours, create an account on www.firetanksoftware.com and send us an email requesting a time limited demo of Feed Manager 2 for your site for the feeds you are interested in and we'll be happy to send it to you to try on your live site.

I have a plain vanilla feed service doesn't do all the bells and whistles that Firetank has but it gets the job done. Cost is $35 for 3 feeds then $8 for add'l feeds.

If you are interested and want more details email me.
