![]() We're moving our site from BigCommerce, which has a built-in blog feature, to X-Cart. X-Cart's blog integration works with WordPress, so we'd have to migrate our blog to WordPress and pay for the Blog add-on.
However, X-Cart has a built-in News feature. SEO-wise, what's the difference between the Blog and News add-ons? Could it be equally effective (SEO-wise) to just migrate the blog to X-Cart's News feature and not have to pay for the Blog add-on and mess with WordPress?

![]() @Brewhaus,
It could work, especially if only thing you need is to create pages with text on them. However, News module is very basic, while WordPress offers a lot more features and flexibility. If you do not use anything aside from ability to publish posts, News module will work for you. Tony
