Try requesting and importing it again. This will only erase any x-payment methods currently being used, which in your case is still 0.

I tried that a couple of times and it still does not show in the list...very odd.

OK, grasping at straws here.

Is the payment method enabled in X-Payments?
In X-Payments, do you have the store checked in - Use in online stores

Yes, its all activated and and I can do the "test module" in x-cart and that works fine. When I do the request payment methods it shows the returned payment methods.

I have cleared the cache and even tried this from a different browser.

This is driving me crazy.

Upgrading, or in this case downgrading is not an option for me or to some others.
Just pointing out that once again the issue of upgrades is part of the core of the discussion. Someday the upgrade system will be much less painful. I see it's on the roadmap for X-Cart 5 and hopefully it will be completely rewritten from the ground up. It would make this new requirement a lot easier to deal with.

I can not think of any other reason for this. Possibly, do you have in Smarty.class.php - "var $compile_check = false;" to speed up your cart?

Off topic here - but if you want to start looking at V5, you can download an alpha of LC3 - see this and this. If they follow the architecture in Drupal - The upgrade process is much improved from the current X-CART. To influence the development - I'd advise taking the discussions to the above forum.

Good news, everyone: X-Payments, our software product has been approved by QSA: PA DSS compliant. Documents are en route to PCI DSS Council.

I will provide a scan of the document from QSA soon. So, X-Payments release will probably happen *this* week.

I got the info just a minute ago. More details will follow.
