Default What program should I use to edit the .tpl files?

Hi,
I am new to both CSS and Smarty programming. I am wondering if there is a good program I should use/purchase in order to edit the many .tpl files for my store(such as head.tpl, menu.tpl...). Preferebly a program that runs like frontpage where it is easy to edit and manipulate the contents. Please any suggestions???

Thanks

Dreamweaver with the .tpl extension added in works well if you want a wysiwyg environment to work in without destroying the code.

Can you explain Further Groovico?

Can you open up tpl files and view other than 'code view'?

If so, can you walk me thru it.

Thanks

Do a search for Dreamweaver and tpl.

That will turn up the info you need.

If you can use Dreamweaver, then editing tpls becomes a snap.
