Is there a text or word limit for the "RSS latest products description" field? and the "RSS latest news description" field?

I have it working fine, but when I add more text to the description fields, the products & news stop showing up in the Feeds. I had to make the description fields very short and generate again to make the products & news starting showing properly again.

No, no limit. Ensure you use valid HTML or the feeds can break quite easily.

I believe I'm using Valid HTML. I'm not using any html in the description field in the feed settings area.

Try viewing the feeds in Opera. I find that browser usually gives a good indication of what's causing the feed to break.

Do I have to Generate the "Products RSS Feed" Everytime I add New Products to my shopping cart? I add new products every day.

Yes, or you can setup a cron job to run xrss_products.php periodically. Contact your host for details on how to set one up.

A quick Google search came up with this script, which is an alternative way to automate cron jobs without having to use the command line.

It doesn't seem to install correctly on 4.5.5? It shows up in the modules list but if you activate it and then try to go to the settings in Content>RSS Feed Settings it opens the general settings page but throws an error "The module is inactive or not installed"
It also doesn't appear in the list on the modules tab of General Settings.

Because v4.5.5 has an extra field in the config table.

Use the attached SQL patch instead.

Yea, I checked the error logs, just wasn't sure where the extra field needed to go in the patch. Thanks for the quick response! Great Module!!
