Hey Jasmin, the Yahoo, MapQuest, MSN Mappoint and Google Maps are already integrated in X-Locator, you just have to check which one you want to use

Well, "I'll be".

That's awesome!

Default couple of questions

1. Does this mod allow us to list dealers according to specific brands or product they sell?
(I.E. For a brand called Miele, the customer puts in their zip and the closest dealer pops up. For a brand called Lindhaus possibly the same dealer would pop up, but it could be a different dealer.)

2. I am considering this also as a subscription based system for my dealers. How easy is it to modify dealer info - add/delete/etc. ?

3. Ok - three questions - not a couple....
What is the cost of this module?

Default Hi Carl

Hi Carl, Answers to your questions:

1. Yes you can list dealers according to specific brands and products though we may have to make a few simple modifications to search for specific brands, this feature will be in v2.0

2. It is very easy to add, edit, delete dealers as the dealers are based off x-carts' membership levels, simply by switching dealers membership you can remove them from the dealer search results or you can delete their profiles entirely. You can add a new dealer by simply creating a new customer profile and setting their membership level to dealer or whatever level you specify in the configuration settings.

3. For the holidays we've lowered the price down to $50. X-Locator v2.0 will be released soon after X-Cart 4.1 is officially released, let me know if you have any other questions and if your interesed in buying just send me a PM, Thanks

Default Suggestion

You should include Store Hours in the Details

Well - We now have it installed and I believe that the way that would work is you would create a Dealer profile (User) - then add the additional fields for whatever - Like Store Name, hours, web site link (Hey Colin - what about making the link clickable - opens a new page), etc.

Hey Carl, which links do you want to be clickable as clicking the company name in the results pops up a profile window with a clickable company url and email plus mapquest directions. We can add an extra field for store hours ect... let me know, Thanks - Colin

Is this still available and if so could it be modded to allow the user the option of having the product available for free pickup at a nearby brick and mortar location? Feel free to PM me with details..
