Go Social Like Buttons and GDPR
Hi all,
I read this article suggesting that putting social like buttons on your site in not a good idea as you are (presumably) responsible for what facebook is doing, as for the visitor, it looks like they are still on your site with a popup on top of it https://www.cookielaw.org/blog/2011/6/15/facebook-like-and-other-social-buttons/ However aren't these buttons 3rd party links, and should you say in your privacy policy that you have 3rd party links and so when you go there, you are subject to their cookies, not yours? So there is the Go Social plugin for x cart too... Any ideas on how to explain these like buttons or not have them at all?
