Trying to install XC SEO..cannot patch htaccess?

Default Trying to install XC SEO..cannot patch htaccess?
Hey guys, I've downloaded jon's XC SEO and am attempting to install it on my xcart site hosted by ewdshosting.com.

When following the instructions, I try to apply the xcseo_419.patch via Patch/upgrade utility the .htaccess status becomes could not patch.

From reading it looks like I might I have to patch it manually? But there are a bunch of htaccess files and I'm not sure which one I need to paste the seo_rules.htccess.txt contents.

I'm sure this is a simple fix that I'm overlooking. My store is brand new, so I'm still learning. Thanks.

For anyone else who may come across this thread,

Jon helped out and the .htaccess file that needs modification is the main one in your /store/ root.
