Hello!

Today we released X-Cart 5.0.7 beta. Here is the link to download the package.

Let me summarize the major changes of X-Cart 5.0.7:

1. Import/Export is available now.

2. UI improvements of the categories management section

3. UI improvements of the search forms on orders and users management pages

4. UI improvements of the language management section


The detailed changelog with all the improvements and fixes is attached to this post.

I have installed the v5 yesterday.

I was very happy to see that The "PIN Code" Addon is free with it for which I have spend a lot for v4. After 2 or 3 updates when I requested to help me so I can reinstall the addon on latest fresh installation of x-cart same amount was demanded. I left the addon and all my $200+ wasted.

I was trying "PIN Code" addon in x-cart v5 and faced a problem might be doing something wrong.
When I select PIN Code setting to "PIN codes are generated automatically" it work fine and on placement of order a code is generated. But here if we can get an option so can input any format or formula might be batter.
But when I select option "PIN codes are defined manually" I tried each and every possibility to add PIN codes each time it give message "Saved PIN Code successfully" but saves no PIN and the quantity remains zero. I tried to import the csv file but same issue.

Just started to test the v5.

If I search BT for "pin codes" how do I find this issue? The direct link here works but how do I find if someone has already reported a similar issue before I waste my time reporting the same thing?

The current search engine has some issues. We are working on it and planning to update it in two-three days.

Not only this but the bugtracker right now is showing only 10 bugs reported by me it seems it shows only open bug reports and not all.
After doing some search it star showing 62 items... then it went down to 25... Yes the bugtracker still doesn't work...

You can upgrade PIN Codes module under your admin area.

It says fixed in 5.0.1. Since it was filed against 5.0.10 what version is that?

(I would have asked this in BT but the issue is closed)
