I had to upgrade because import didn't work properly with vairiants in 4.1.3. However, for some reason, some of my products disapeared. In admin, If I do a search by the productID, it shows 0 results. if I manually type in the product to modify it (www.domain.com/xcart/provider/product_modify.php?productid=13), I can see it, edit it etc. and it is "avalable for sale"...when I try to view it on the customer side, it doesnt show up.

I looked through the db and traced the item back to its catagory path (xcart_categories.categoryid_path) to see what category path it was under. Each category is enabled as well. After looking the category, it says I have 25 products, but when I click on it, I can only see some of them. This isnt making any sense to me. maybe I need another cappuccino...

I have done a clean install of 4.1.6 but when I try to log in as the master account it will not let me modify my profile when I click the Modify link. I receive a Page Not Found error.

Also - I can not create any new users, whether they be customers or administrators. I enter in user name and password and then click save. It will then empty out the form and the new user will not be created.

Does anyone know why this might be happening on a clean, brand new install?

I have recently did two clean installation of 4.1.6 without any problem and they are running pretty smoothly.

Hello

I have a big problem:

When customer start to checkout as anonymous an error message appear: "You are not allowed to continue the checkout procedure! Please apply to the store administrator for details."

This problem appear only in IE6! (i never see it in Firefox 1.5 or Opera 9.1; i try to access my site from other computers with IE6 installed, same error)
Disable anonymous checkout is not ticked, i want users to be anonymous untill they decide to buy
I use XC SEO but same problem appear when i deactivate this module


Also, in IE6 i can see xid session

What to check is Modules, Stop List, configure and make sure that Fail Check Out Process if customer proxy is anonymous is UNCHECKED (no tick!).

I have a clean 4.16 installed on my linux server. I want to use google checkout but the problem is about the shipping cost. when i click on google's add to cart button it goes to google checkout page without getting actual shipping cost. It shows just the subtotal. I tried it with anonymous account by the way. I did not log in.

On the other hand i was using pre-login shipping calculation from USPS for 4.1.3 version. It still works great. You can see it on:

I'd like to use same system as protechstore but the difference is about google checkout. Google does not allow to let you take the shipping cost before going google checkout page.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regarding the thumbnail issue (Post #53) The thumbnail images size was set at a small file size limit so anything larger than that deleted them. Qualiteam found that issue and changed it so it was a simple resolution:

1) Logged in to the administration back end
2) Clicked on "Images Location" in the "Administration" menu.
3) Set "File size limit" variable to zero in the "Product thumbnails" area and pressed on the "Submit" button.

All email addresses I get "E-mail address is invalid! Please correct" when attempting to register a new user or change my email address from admin. What gives?
