Note that new name is not reflected in the navigation breadcrumbs, but does appear in the customer invoice header.

This is not a bug, the site name in the title of pages and breadcrumbs is defined by label 'lbl_site_name' now. You may enter to the Webmaster mode to edit this label or use standard language management section.

In that case then the information on page 80 and 84 of the 41x manual needs revising if it hasn't been already.

cheers

Default 4.1.0 RC4 CVV2 problem

If "Enable Credit Card info validation:" is checked in Admin/General Settings / General Options, then when checking out a product:

If the payment type chosen is either credit card or using a payment processor (in my case Eway XML), then typing in the actual Amex 4 digit CVV2 number results in the pop-up message "CVV2 must be a number", and it is not possible to proceed with the order.

cheers

could we not join the Personal information & Contact Information into one section
I've been asking for the change for the past 2-3 RC releases. Just don't see any particular reason why the registration form should have two different sections, "Personal Information" and then "Contact Information" right below it.

Addtionally, we don't have any option to easily move the "Phone" and "Email" fields in from "Contact Information" section into the "Personal Information". And when contacted X-cart about doing this, they wanted to charge support points because it is a custom mod.

PLEASE make the necessary change. Or at least give us the option of making that change within the Admin Pannel. I hope to see this change in the next release. THANK YOU for listening.

-Tuan

I must be the only one having import issues with 4.1RC4 ... I've reinstalled from scratch 3 times and have the same result. I've added a couple of products, exported them, but cannot reimport them... is this a bug or a config problem I may have? Anyone?

You are not the only one. I've not had a successfull import with the 4.1 branch yet and stated so several times on the previous rc threads with no response. I know several other people have had issues as well. If anyone is able to import products successfully then they are very tight-lipped on how they are doing it.

Well, I have got this working but it isn't the smoothest process. Import basically hangs when there is an error in the CSV. Then you need to check the import error log to figure out the error and remove it. Then load.

Problem for me is I am loading one category with 6,000 products and the file is 6.6 MB's. Thus, everytime I import and get the errors, I have to correct the errors and then re-upload the file. After 10 times, I am getting tired of that. How about the hangup get fixed?

If an item errors, just report it in the import log and move on to the next line item. So far... I am on Pass 6 and have to go through it once again... fun stuff!

XC: Can you get the import to work ever with errors? Just disregard any product line that errors and take the correct ones.

Thanks,

Mike

It is very difficult to solve a problem without having a specific CSV file. So, if you are having an issue with export/import functionality, please create a ticket and upload the problem file into the File area of the Help Desk.
Thank you.
