Can't 4.1.8 do one click postage printing already? just curious for figuring out the shipping features is comng soon on our list.

Also for the Zebra guys- can you please let me know - possibly on another thread to eep this on topic how you use this with xcart, if there are any tricks to modding it into xcart, etc. I am very interested in breaking free from my very costly usps label supplier and thiink you guys just found the ticket for me.

cheers and thanks on both quesitons.

I have not used 4.1.8's one click printing because I understand you create the labels and then pay for them later - to me that's extra work, not less work.

With Endicia Integrator, you run the integrator, it shows you all your open orders, grouped into USPS shipping domestic, international, and something else, can't remember what. you uncheck the ones you DON'T want to ship and click the Run Endicia button. Then all the selected orders for that section appear on one sheet. The shipping address, shipping method are set, your default box type (you set a default for each shipping method (1st class, parcel), stealth mode (hides shipping cost on label), insurance options are set. The estimated weight is set, but i usually ahve to change this to the actual weight. Then you click another button and save the XML to your endicia folder. When Dazzle is open, it automatically finds the file and prints my beautiful zebra labels (you set which labels you want). Each label has the order number on it, so it's easy to stick it on the right box. Then I just drop those suckers off at USPS (they let me put them on a cart in the back, no line, no waiting).

In short, a process that used to take me hours takes me minutes now. Literally. I get paid for, ready to adhere labels (I used to cut and tape the USPS/PayPal ones, took forever, wasted tape, ink, paper).

hope this makes sense - i need coffee!!!

oh, and updating the orders with the tracking info and complete status is as easy as opening an XML file.

thanks miami.mom,

I am assuming that you have to pay a monthly for the endicia servce (whicih of course is nada if this saves so much time). Just want to make sure understand all of this.

Secondly, a layperson (me) would assume that this is what xcart and the integration to the USPS webste already does with 4.1.8. I agree that 2 click is wonderful but again I was under the assumption that this (or something similar) would be what you would get if you iegrated with realtime USPS.

Endicia is $15.95 per month. If you decide to go with it, look around on the internet for coupons. We got 3 months free when we signed up.

Great program!

Contact Nate and ask. http://workingmansoftware.com/contact.php

There isn't much "support" needed. We've been running it flawlessly for quite some time now and I can't express enough how much of a godsend it is.
